Overview
Fixed Wire Testing (also known as EICR (Electrical Installation Conditioning Report), Periodic Inspection & Testing and Hard Wire Testing) is process of testing all installations and systems which conduct electricity within your building.
This would cover the wiring in items such as your air-conditioning, distribution boards, sockets, lighting and other fixed plant. At the end of the service you are issued with an EICR (Electrical Installation Conditioning Report) to verify the installation has been tested and is safe to use.
